In the beginning of this year, IBO launched outlets in Bangalore and Chennai.

IBO, a retailer specialising in house construction and restoration, has extended its presence in South India by opening its first shop in Hyderabad, Telangana. The expansion aligns with the brand's aim to provide consumers a value-priced omni-channel experience in house construction retail and home innovation.

Through this 15,000-square-foot shop, IBO will provide house-owners, home construction experts, interior designers, architects, and builders with 4000 goods from over 200 brands at wholesale pricing for their home building and home renovation needs.

In contrast to organised retail, where prices are often opaque, all IBO pricing are published on shelf and accessible through smartphone. The business is situated in the urban suburb of Ranigunj in Secundrabad, about 5 or 6 kilometres from the famed Banjara Hills.

Venkateshwar Kumar, CEO, retail, IBO, said that with the city becoming a worldwide centre for IT, ITeS, and manufacturing enterprises, there is a new generation of aspirational property buyers in the city. This has resulted in a rise in demand for house building, home remodelling, and home interiors.

Mayank Shivam, CEO of ecommerce at IBO, said that clients now are increasingly digitally savvy and use online platforms not just for their fundamental needs, but also for their more advanced wants. To achieve this experience for their clients, they have made substantial investments to enhance their ecommerce platform, allowing clients to purchase from the comfort of their own homes.
