Godrej Properties (GPL) has announced the signing of an agreement to build a 33-acre land parcel at the Bannerghatta Road residential micromarket in South Bengaluru. The deal provides for an outright acquisition with the landowners receiving a 5% area share.

Bannerghatta Road is a well-established residential area in South Bengaluru, with great access to both the Bannerghatta main road and the Electronic City IT/ITES belt. Additionally, the location is near to many other major metropolitan centres and has an incredibly well-developed social and civic infrastructure, including several schools, hospitals, retail, residential, and commercial areas.

According to Mohit Malhotra, MD & CEO of Godrej Properties, Bannerghatta Road is a critical micromarket in Bengaluru, and Godrej Properties is pleased to add this land lot to its real estate portfolio. This would further strengthen their footprint in South Bengaluru and complement their aim of increasing their presence in important micromarkets across India's largest cities.
