ADIA Takes a Strategic Exit by Selling INR 1,926 Crore Stake in Mindspace Business Parks REIT

The Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) has officially exited its investment in Mindspace Business Parks REIT, completing a major ₹1,926 crore stake sale. The transaction, executed via a block deal, involved the sale of 5.43 crore units at ₹354.3 per unit through ADIA's subsidiary, Platinum Illumination A 2018 Trust. This exit marks the end of ADIA’s journey with the REIT, which began when it acquired a 9.2% stake in 2022.

Big Players Step In

Several prominent institutional investors snapped up the available units, showcasing strong market confidence:

  • ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund: Acquired ₹375 crore worth of units.
  • Capital Group: Bought units worth ₹362 crore.
  • HDFC Standard Life Insurance: Purchased ₹140 crore worth of units.
